Assessment guide for Lee’s Grade 10 FMP Unit 1: Algebra. The learning standards assessed in this unit are listed in the first table below. Resources for ongoing learning and assessment is detailed in the second table. To skip the first table, click ‘How to upgrade’.
All grades are formative until a date set a few weeks prior to the end of the course.
The first five grades focus on assessing proficiency with respect to content learning standards. These grades are initally taken from the unit test.
The last three grades focus on assessing curricular competency learning standards. These grades are assessed via the project and the classwork.
Evidence of learning can be drawn from mutliple sources. These opportunities (test/project/classwork) are provided for logistical simplicity on the parts of both teacher & learner. The learning standards are drawn from the BC curriculum for grade 10FMP.
Continued learning is encouraged and can be pursued using the resources detailed in the second table.
